Shoba Jacobs, MA
Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Unfulfilling jobs and relationships, bad break-ups, trouble with loved ones, the stresses of family life weigh us down. Our Self gets lost in the messiness of being human. It’s exhausting. What if I told you, it doesn’t have to be this way? There is a lighter path. You can choose to come home to yourself. To slow down. Pause. Breathe. Explore. You can choose to know yourself and learn what you truly want.
Shoba is a master’s level therapist who received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, and is passionate about working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, relational trauma, and spiritual trauma. She believes therapy is a collaborative endeavor where we are curious about you. She believes in creating an empathetic, open space, where clients can be themselves and find healing through conversation and self-discovery. She uses a combination of Rogerian therapy, EFT, Gottman, IFS, somatic-attachment techniques, and other trauma-informed treatment modalities.
